These little sachets take the place of dryer sheets. Each sachet is full of dried lavender buds and can be used up to five dryer loads. After that, it will retain enough scent to be used in a drawer or any other small, enclosed space you want to impart a light lavender scent. Though each is double knotted, beware! With very heavy loads such as a full load of towels, the sachet may open a bit and some of the dried lavender buds may spill out. This is not a usual occurrence, but is a possibility. If it does happen, just tuck the buds back in the sachet and retie the knot! Also, the lavender scent is more perceptible if an unscented detergent has been used.
